A Creative End to 2012 on Batu Feringhi Beach

I ended 2012 with a Greek twist—finishing a sand sculpture of a nymph (or maybe a goddess… or was it a mermaid? Depends on my mood!) on Batu Feringhi Beach in Penang, Malaysia . The golden sands became my canvas as I carefully shaped and carved her. Was she a nymph? A muse? A sea siren? Who knows—but I’d say she turned out pretty okay!
